Should you find it necessary to return an AAE product to our Great Yarmouth factory, please use the following procedure to assist in the prompt, safe processing of your return. This policy applies to both Warranty and Repair items:
STEP 1) Please make contact with us so that we may discuss your return with you and issue an Applied Acoustics RMA (returns) tracking number. AAE will require the model number/s and serial number/s of the items. This RMA number should then be included in all correspondence concerning the equipment. All returns should be sent to our main factory address.
STEP 2) If you have elected to use a courier such as DHL or similar, please provide us with the allotted tracking number. AAE will also provide a return tracking number if at all possible.
STEP 3) If you have elected to return items to us by Air Freight, they should be consigned to Norwich International Airport for the attention of TRICON Freight TEL: 01493 659311.
STEP 4) Please provide the following information inside the consignment: -
a) Brief details of the suspected fault.
b) The AAE RMA tracking number.
c) AAE Model and serial numbers if equipment is not labelled.
c) Your contact details.
STEP 5) Please include ALL parts which are relevant to each item of equipment in order that we may ensure a comprehensive diagnosis. (EG. A Remote Transducer should be sent together with its matched electronics housing and interconnect lead).
STEP 6) Following evaluation, AAE will advise clients of repair costs or warranty status and their estimated lead-times.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
All items of AAE equipment should be returned to our main factory address freight pre-paid.
Please use shock absorbent materials such as bubble wrap or polystyrene 'chips' to pack the equipment within.
Please use a sturdy, robust crate to contain the equipment.
Any taxes and/or duty incurred in the process of returning such goods to AAE's main address are also payable by the sender.
Unless under agreed warranty, clients are also responsible for return freight costs. AAE will select a carrier unless otherwise advised.
AAE will only expedite repairs upon receipt of purchase order.
