The WAVeurope Kangoo is designed to transport one wheelchair occupant, with up to three additional people including the driver.
|

The excellent interior height of the Kangoo allows plenty of room for an occupied wheelchair, floor space for luggage, and four overhead aviation-style compartments provide additional stowage space.

The wheelchair access is via the car’s rear doors, which open to either 90°, or 180°. The air suspension permits the rear of the car to be lowered towards the ground allowing the short access ramp to be deployed. This makes the car ideal for use in confined spaces! And remember, most disabled parking bays provide excellent width, but sometimes length is little more than for conventional cars. A four-point belt restraint system provides firm anchorage for your wheelchair whilst travelling, and a three-point seat belt keeps you safe and secure.
The conversion requires no specific maintenance, so all regular servicing and repairs can be carried out by your local Renault Dealer; current service intervals are either annually, or every 12000 miles for diesel engines and 18000 miles for petrol versions, whichever occurs sooner. |

The WAVeurope Kangoo boasts a wide channel to help incorporate even the widest of wheelchairs and access dimensions are detailed opposite.
The WAVeurope Kangoo is designed to accommodate a wheelchair passenger and up to three other passengers, including the driver.
With a choice of three Euro IV compliant engines, you can chose between the 1.2 16v petrol engine, the 1.5 dCi diesel engine or the 1.6 16v petrol engine with automatic transmission.
The trim levels offered are; the Authentique or Club, with additions including an overhead parcel shelf, aviation-style lockers and the ‘family pack’, or the Expression.

Wheelchair access is via the rear doors and because the air suspension enables the rear of the car to be lowered toward the ground, a short access ramp is all that’s needed to help you into the rear wheelchair point.
Further adaptations for specific needs can be added to the car - please ask for details.
The car features an immobiliser, Renault’s RAID anti-intruder device and remote controlled central locking. Driver’s and front passenger’s air bags are included as is power assisted steering and anti-lock brakes.
