Designed for your total independence, the Drive-From-Wheelchair Kangoo is purpose built for you to drive from your powerchair or wheelchair.

The car features air suspension, which not only provides excellent ride and handling qualities, but also permits the rear of the car to lower towards the ground via a hand held remote control.

The car offers a short, automated access ramp for easy use in confined spaces.
Simply guide yourself through the car to take up your position behind the wheel where the automatic tie-down system secures you firmly in place, put your seat belt on, and you’re ready to go.
The ‘fly-by-wire’ hand throttle control delivers the car’s power smoothly whilst the ABS brakes ensure good stopping power. The panoramic rear view mirror incorporating an audio-visual parking aid ensures you know what’s happening round you!
Whilst conventional switchgear is retained, the lights and wipers are cleverly designed to automatically activate when needed. Similarly, the automatic parking brake
activates as soon as you stop, and releases itself when you drive away.

The Kangoo DFW is purpose-built for you to drive from your powerchair or wheelchair.

The WAVeurope Drive-From-Wheelchair Kangoo is designed to be driven from your wheelchair, with accommodation for up to two additional passengers.
From your remote control, you access the car by opening the rear doors, then lowering firstly the rear suspension, then the short access ramp. Simply guide your wheelchair through the car to the regular driving position, and use the same remote control to stow the access ramp, raise the car up and close the doors after you.
An automatic tie-down secures your wheelchair in the correct driving position and you are ready to go!
But it doesn’t end there. Removal of the conventional gearshift and centre console ensures maximum space for you and your passenger, whilst the gear selector is relocated to within the radio panel. Hand controls for brake and accelerator also incorporate the indicator switch, whilst the handbrake is replaced by an electronic parking-brake. Sensors permit automatic activation of front wipers and headlights as and when required - you still retain the manual switchgear - and air conditioning ensures you keep as comfortable as possible all year round - providing cooling in the summer and prevention against window misting in the damper months!
Overhead aviation-style compartments and a parcel shelf provide useful stowage space and the car’s tyres are Punctureseal* treated to help protect against punctures!
To complete the package, the engine is started and switched off via a push-button in lieu of a conventional, and sometimes awkward, key.

Please be aware that the remote central locking and immobiliser are deactivated to accommodate the auto-rear door function and push-button, keyless engine-start. The offside rear side-door (driver’s side) does not open.
