The WAVeurope Renault Master Automatic offers great flexibility for people who might need to transport more than one wheelchair or scooter, those who have larger families, or those needing to
transport additional equipment regularly alongside their wheelchair or scooter. Included as standard are two rear passenger seats, a driver’s and single front passenger’s seat, plus one wheelchair or scooter point. With additional cost however, up to seven passengers’ seats and one wheelchair point is possible in the short-wheelbase Master, or incremental wheelchair/scooter points and fewer regular seats. The space between the two front seats in the Master Automatic may also provide the solution for those wanting the opportunity to transfer from a wheelchair to either front seat for travelling.
The standard vehicle comes with a Ricon taillift, which can accommodate wheelchairs of up to 110cm x 75cm - with an upgrade option for scooters up to 140cm in length - and with a generous access height of 160cm through the rear doors. The lift has a remote control operation with a manual override feature and has a safe load capacity of 300kgs.
All wheelchair points and passengers’ seats conform to M1 regulations and feature a three-point inertia reel seat belt for their occupants. The vehicle is fully trimmed throughout and has a flat floor to the back of the front seats and features a 109cm wide, sliding rear side door on the kerbside. Overhead lighting illuminates the vehicle’s interior and low-level LED lights provide assistance for fastening wheelchair restraints in the dark. A switch-operated lamp is provided to ensure the taillift can also be operated safely in poor light.
The Master Automatic features metallic paint and tinted glass all round and the driver benefits from multi-adjustments to the driver’s seat, adjustable steering column, electrically adjustable door mirrors, power front windows and a trip computer. Everyone can enjoy the standard radio CD and air conditioning all included in our standard package. Optional rear heating and air conditioning is available too.
Servicing requirements are every 24000 miles, or two years - whichever occurs first - and with ABS braking and a six-speed automatic gearbox, the Master Automatic and its car-like qualities make it an ideal solution for those needing that bit of extra space.
